Eggs for breakfast

We had a couple of eggs that went out of date today so I popped them outside last night to see if the pine marten  was interested. They were still there this morning but I heard Richard call 'Quick Mum the pine marten is taking the egg.'Luckily I was just heading outside with the camera, of course , so  managed to get a few shots and I liked this one best with the sun kissed fur.
A beautiful day again so we went down to the beach cafe for lunch. Lots of people enjoying the nice weather. One granny and her grandson get caught out by an incoming wave and both ended up with wet feet, lots of laughter and then they were both thrilled when they managed to catch a fish in his little fishing net.
