Happy Birth-iversary to Me!
Today I turned 48.
And Today I have been Married for 6 years (again!)
The Day started a little earlier than I would have liked but we had to collect Daughter Number 1 and get to the Hawk Conservancy in Andover by 10.45 to meet my good friend of 30 Years - Shirley and her hubbie Steve (who we are going Cruising with next May). They have both been members of the Conservancy for 4 years and know it well there. They kindly paid for our admission and ordered Afternoon Tea!!
Sadly Emily wasn't feeling too well and had a bit of wobble with her anxiety but she coped well and was able to enjoy some of her day even if she might have been bored to tears with the Birds but she came for me!
I did however really enjoy the displays. I'm not a great lover of animals in captivity or performing to crowds, but these birds do seem to really enjoy it. The conservancy is a charity helping endangered species, particular the vultures in Africa. The birds flew freely and were duly rewarded.
We had a great Afternoon tea with lashings of cake, sandwiches and a Bottle of Bubbly and left feeling totally stuffed.
I have had a great day with warm sunshine, so many messages, cards, gifts and thoughts and feel very loved and Mr W has done very allowing me the limelight when its his Special day too. I love you Mr Wares.
xXx
