Covered Bridges

Today and tomorrow were always going to be the longest days in the car as we are moving from Stowe in Northern Vermont down to Cape Cod. We did 157 miles today and tomorrow we have another 230 to drive. We set off after breakfast but took our time stopping off at a very traditional small town General Store for lunch (a massive BLT which came complete with a large portion of smoked turkey breast!), and whenever we saw a view worth a picture. There are a number of Covered Bridges in the area and this is one that we passed; it is in a beautiful position next to a small village which was a mill town in times gone by. I've also added an extra of some trees showing the Fall colours; the colours aren't as far on as they were last time we saw them and will get much richer and deeper but they are still pretty good!

Overnight in Williamstown in Massachusetts before moving on to the Cape tomorrow.
