Different

We slept in this morning.
SWMBO forgot to st the alarm.
But we still had The Cygnet ready for school in time.
Squirrel was kept off due to a rash .......... suspected Foot & Mouth (not as serious as it sounds).

PD was late this morning too - waiting on the gardener who is going to rectify the 'damage' done to his owners garden when they had their new gas tank fitted.

It was a lovely blue sky which meant there were some nice backlit leaves on the walk.

After I had taken PD on his walk (where he picked up a ball from the hallway and lost it within 200 yards .... idiot!) we collected some Euros from SWMBO's mother and then took Squirrel into Edinburgh.
We parked at The Gyle and got the tram in - which Squirrel loved.
She insisted on having her photo taken but wouldn't actually believe it was a castle behind her ..... after all, it doesn't look like a Disney style one.
I bought some quality shirts (for going on holiday) in a shop where 'Hipster' was the required style for the salesmen. 
I felt a bit out of place.
Then of course she insisted on having something to eat and drink .... so we filled her with hot chocolate and brownies in Hotel Chocolate before heading home.

It was then another dog walk where I noticed some big, shaggy, well camouflaged fungi ............... and a big pile of weird fungus which had appeared since Friday .............. probably related to the yellow one which I came across a while ago (which also appeared almost overnight).
