The Return of the Rats!

Well yesterday there was no fresh digging - today there was! New hole in the wooden half barrel and a hole at the end of the long rectangular piece of concrete that I had put on top of all the stones blocking the original hole in the wall! More earth under the arbour! Any day now I expect my rose to subside into the planter as I don't think there can be much earth left in it! So a quick trip out to get rat bait! The trip was quick but took me till early afternoon to muster energy to do it! Then home to snuggle under a blanket and catch up on some videoed TV programmes before an early bedtime! Lucky for me the sun hit these dried leek flower heads and enthused me enough to take some photos!
