John and Jo

What a beautiful, beautiful day...in every way!

I couldn't believe it when I walked outside to glorious sunshine and then the news on arrival at the bride's house that the ceremony was going to be outside. Best news for a photographer, ever! Jo was amazing and calm and making sure that everybody else was alright. Such a stunning bride, inside and out. When we got to the venue it was nice to have some time with the boys (John's three and Jo's one). The ceremony was beautiful with lots of words being spoken to and over the couple. They beamed throughout the entire thing, another photographer's dream. Some time with the couple for their portraits and then in for the reception and speeches (and very attentive staff who looked after mum and I very well and made us the best steak sandwich of my life). The speeches were incredible and emotional and heartbreaking and full of love. John lost his first wife just over a year ago and the way they both honoured her was beautiful. Mum and I struggled to hold it together despite not even knowing Jo and John.

Then off to Birmingham to find a house of illness and the potential for a very raining half marathon in the morning.

Extra added, just because.
