Unpacking

Home after a really good holiday. 

We stopped off at Slimbridge on the way. There are two main types of visitors - happy families with young kids, who were getting particularly excited along the lego trail (lego spoonbill sandpiper in the extra). And birders with bins, scopes and cameras with huge lenses, dressed in green and black and looking very focussed and serious. We fitted neither category.

Arriving at Slimbridge we learnt that a 4* Severn Bore is expected at 9.26 pm, with the river rising 10m. That would be something to see.

Home and half unpacked. We took the kitchen sink with us, I thought I would photo the additions we have brought back. Only some of the apples are here - we have a big bag full of Normandy apples which will have to be stewed. And somehow we have bought four fridge magnets.
