Music in the Garden
Church, then beer and burger at the Circle, then a wander round the Botanic Gardens. These guys were playing some music of some description, but I don't even know how I would describe it. Sort of Latin I guess, maybe with a bit of an Indian vibe too. The kind of thing that is hard not to dance to when you are wandering around the garden in the sun.
Tried to take some pictures of flowers, but they never really inspire me to be honest.
Watched the closing ceremony. On paper the best of British music should have been amazing. In practice we ended up with Annie Lennox pretending to be a pirate and somebody's Dad dancing inside a giant octopus.
Apparently the viewing figures weren't as good as the opening ceremony because 1 million people switched off during George Michael's set. Says it all really.
