The nation is preparing for the grand event of Independence Day falling tomorrow. Revolutionary underground organisations are imposing public curfew on the fateful day. Security measures are beefed up all 'round. This goes on every year ever since the sessesionist movement demanding independence from the union gained ground in due course of time. What an irony.

The streets are being lighted up and well-decorated in advance of Patriots' Day yesterday which will resume till the ID. This is one long exposure of the statue of the martyr Thangal General we've been trying to capture since some days back which didn't materialise. Yesterday's attempt at this with our club members didn't work with all the crowds stampeding on the pavements and grounds making the long exposures blurry defying the sturdiest of tripods.

As usual, had to head back and reload the whole process while the coast is clear.
