Green Bee-eater

A gorgeous Green Bee-eater, sitting, waiting in his favourite tree for a tasty flying insect to fly by(they don't just eat bees thank goodness, in fact they seem to have a liking for Hornets)  A very sociable bird that likes to share a branch with a number of other Bee-eaters. I love the colour combination of aquamarine, the very bright green, with a black mask and red eyes! After a while of watching this ones antics, the branch was full with five of these beautiful little birds, all chattering away together.
