Red as Rubies

Slept well after yesterday's long walk.
Up earlier than of late as off to Pilates then on to Mums.

Today's blip is a quick hedgerow shot on our top road, in this mornings brilliant sunshine....the Reds were positively glistening :-)

Mum was almost ready, just needed help with her hair. Then we were off to M&S for lunch, then a browse in the food hall and the ladies section. Mum saw a jumper she liked, so I bought it for her birthday :-)

Then it was Sainsburys for groceries, mum had a list........I'd memorised what I needed as " crisp butties!!" Bread, butter and crisps ;-)

We did the obligatory leaf sweeping when we got back to mums and then had a brew, before putting the shopping away.

We've had roasted belly pork, Apple sauce, potatoe Rosti, runner beans and roasted tomatoes for dinner, followed by a little M&S trifle for mum, a count on us chocolate mousse for me.

I'm just about to pack up the car and head home now, hope it's not a two hour journey like last week :-/
