Feeding time

It is dark when we go to get the cows for milking in the morning, and some of them really don't think it is time to get up and wonder to the shed. They just sit in the paddock until we notice them with our torch. I definitely know how they feel - it is far too early to be getting going in the morning!

We have had a busy today today, and while I saw another gorgeous wee calf sitting in the middle of a pile of hay (and thinking what a nice picture that would be), I resisted and decided to take a picture of the calves in the shed having their 'tea' off the milk bar. Once they get the hang of doing this, they can go out into a paddock, and learn how to drink of the meals on wheels trolley that gets towed behind the quad bike.
