Break In at da Museum

Slightly better day, still windy but less showers.  Brrrr fairly chilly though!

I've been working all day in the museum.  It's been a fairly quiet day, but I have managed to get through some photos and photo orders.  I met mam for lunch, followed with a cupcake and cuppa :)  It's been a fairly quiet evening at home, waiting for my telly shows to start :)  Mam and Elise popped by for a cuppa too.  

It was a shock coming into work this morning, police cars and a broken window.  Sometime in the early hours, someone broke into the museum and stole the charity donation barrel, a sad day for us and Shetland.  CCTV and the police will hopefully find the culprit soon.  They must be desperate before committing the petty crime, but that's no excuse.  It also left us to clean up their mess.  Here's Barbara Anderson and Anne Sutherland cleaning up the broken glass from the window, and must have been a skinny person to squeeze through.  Taken at Hay's Dock, Lerwick.
