Trees Gone Bare

It's not been much of a day.  More rain, wind and dull.

Day off work and I slept well this morning, didn't want to get up, hearing the rain on the windows.  The rainy morning soon passed, but didn't get out with Sammy much.  I popped into Lerwick at lunchtime, and even managed a peerie walk with Sammy.  Nipped along friends on my way home and finally managed to get a decent walk, and it stayed dry.  I've been working tonight in the museum to cover holidays.  There's been a talk on, as well as the restaurant open.

This past couple of days has seen off the last of the summer leaves.  They have done remarkably well this year, and some trees still are clinging on to a few.  It was really unusual to get such a mild autumn, but feels like winter has set in now.  This is the trees at the back of Craigpark Road, Scalloway.
