Austrian Stuff

Early this morning I heard some machinery outside and saw the council street cleaners sucking up all the leaves with a giant vacuum cleaner from the nature strip. There are masses of fallen leaves in the street. The residents had swept them into neat piles during the week but I didn't realise that the council clears them away. Our neighbour didn't realise, either, and had been stuffing as many as he could into the green waste bin every week until Hubby told him that he didn't need to. Hubby said that I had to show him this photo as evidence of the clean up.
