State of decay

Woke up by the alarm this morning......we had to be up ready as we have been looking after Emily today whilst she's off school.

Once we had collected Emily we went to ToysRus looking at things she might like to have sent to Father Christmas ;-) she also helped us choose some things for her cousins too!

We asked her what she wanted to eat for lunch.......her first choice was home for a sandwich believe it or not, but we didn't have any bread so I said we should eat out........second favourite was McDonald's!
I have to say it was actually very good. It was sooo busy, lot she of staff, so. Y theory is it was all hands on de k, everything was really fresh ;-)

Then it was back home, we p,sued a few games, watched a film, then she wanted something g to eat, so it wa spaghetti bolegnese for her tea, before we all went back to her house......although she and Grandy went to the shop for a newspaper, and some Snooki s stickers, which are apparently all the rage for girls of a certain age ;-)

Daughter was pleased to see us, she was eating pizza, so we had a slice!! Then once we were back home we decided that a light tea was all that wanted........so a platter of assorted cheeses, cooked meat, salami, celery and tomatoes with crackers fitted the bill perfectly :-) followed by a glass of red.

It's been a grey drizzly and damp day, but since its flower Friday, I thought this sad looking agapanthus would fit today's challenge ;-)
