Common Darter

Another excellent walking day - 12 miles circular from Wilmington to Alfriston, down the Cuckmere to Littlington, Charleston and East Dean returning via Friston Forest, Lullington Heath and Windover Hill. The main feature was the huge number of ladybirds and dragonflies. In terms of butterflies I saw Red Admiral, Comma, Brimstone, Peacock and Small White.
