Modelling

I pattern test for a designer and there's a new pattern in the pipeline. I made my tester version whilst Katie was at school today - this. She loved it when she saw it but wasn't all that enthused about trying it on for photos. She is a bit off colour generally, with a mean old cough. But some chocolate changed her mind and as soon as she was in the dress and realised how twirly it is, she was sold completely.

She started the day early, yet due to taking 75 minutes to eat breakfast it all still felt very busy. She managed good clarinet practices and is working hard to have a nice programme of pieces to show B in their facetime lesson on Sunday.

We jogged to school which she normally really enjoys but today at one point she said "This doesn't feel like jogging, this feels like running. Don't you know I am ridiculously tired?!" She got over it though and spent the day orienteering. She wasnt especially enthusiastic about it when she came out, shrugged it off with a "well I got to go with Freya" as the positive about it. She had a great time at dance club and loved that they did a new dance to supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. She told them about the show.

After we'd done some quick photos of the dress outside the house, she helped me make enchiladas for tea. She loved everything we put into them, loved making them, loved the smell, loved the look of them. Pushed them around the plate when it came to eating them with Grandad and Granny. Same went for the homemade sponge pud with custard. Definitely not quite right!
