Sodium

My Dear Fellow,

Here are the back streets on my way home at about 4.30.

Now that the clocks have gone back it is dusky a lot earlier and the sodium lights turned the alley to orange.

I suppose that is not really a good thing. But I thought it was sort of pretty.

Tonight's film was "The Mark of Zorro" with Tyrone Power. I sort of liked it, but as usual I found myself siding with Basil Rathbone, the villain, more than the hero. Clearly there is something wrong with me.
