Romance ain't dead

If you spend any time with young people or pay any attention to the media, you'll often think that today's teenagers living in this over-sexualised, snapchat world are all busy getting fresh by the time they reach double figures. Today at school we had a new boy in our lunch club, the boyfriend of one of our regular, super lovely girls. During our 'highs and lows' of the week someone piped up with "Joe and Rosie hugged!"
Joe, rather coyly, explained that yes, they had hugged, and it had been the highlight of his week. Too cute.

A delightful run after work and I still can't get enough of the carpet of delightful, golden leaves. Sadly though, on my walk through the Quarry this morning, the trees were nearly bare. Leaf carpet season looks like it's coming to an end.

You'll be pleased to know that the diary of a hungry woman is coming to an end. Tonight was potato and rosemary rostis with a couple of poached eggs. Because who doesn't love a poached egg to end the week?
