A trippy trip to Earl's Hill
A beautiful day for an Autumnal hill walk in Shropshire. Cold enough to be able to wrap up, bright and sunny enough for it not to be depressing, an array of multicoloured woodland to gaze at and enough crisp leaves under foot to satisfactorily crunch through.
Not sure about the people surrounding the village of Pontesbury though. We came across a Shetland pony with a heart shaved into it's bum, a weird looking place which was obviously an abandoned commune where people had died (speculation), an albino pony with glassy eyes and some weird yellow-plate-head-shirt-wearing effigies (obviously witchcraft).
Ended, as all good walks should, with a pint of local(ish) ale and a bowl of chips.
