580 bogging euros worth for digging three holes, pushing down three calibrated pipes and seeing how long it takes the water to sink and the bubbles to rise, "bleurp, bleurp, bleurp" in the tubes.
Not long at all it transpires.
It drains beautifully.
But we knew that.
Because that's where all the new earth was moved to. Duh!
Now we have to wait two weeks for a report which will enable us to re-terrace the land for the septic tank and meanwhile Lizzie's garden slides further and further behind schedule. It's SO frustrating.
