A Walk in the Woods

There was snow on the hills when we opened the curtains this morning, but Chris and I had a good early walk round the moor and round the woods.

Then into town to return some of my rather rash purchases. We collected Nathaniel from home then picked up Ella from school, walked to metro then did the annual visit to Fenwicks window. They are celebrating 150 years of Beatrix Potter. Nathaniel was fascinated and loved it. Ella was tired and grumpy and wanted to go for dinner, so we headed to Yo Suchi which they love. Despite telling them they could only pick green or blue plates from the conveyor belt (the cheapest) - and despite Mr C and me not having any, it cost £25. They enjoyed It all but if seemed expensive for a little bit of seaweed. Ella wondered if we should have collected some last time we went to the beach.
