My new art acquisition

I've been thinking about buying a piece of art for quite some time, but until I retired I never had the energy to figure out what I might like. So I've had the same poster hanging over my couch for at least 20 years.  I recently met ArtistAnnie on a blip meetup in Bellingham, Washington and thought I'd check out her website to see her paintings.  I fell in love with this one called Mehitabel's Favorite Spot. You can see more of her work here.  I went up to Bellingham on Friday and spent a lovely afternoon with A and saw her studio and other paintings.  I still loved this one, and it's now hanging in my living room.  I love it.  Spent the night and much of Saturday with Connections enjoying lots of talk and a great exhibit at the Whatcom Museum.  What a perfect getaway that was!
