Afternoon Snooze
Mitzi is snoozing soundly on her "Koranda Bed." We purchased one of the "off the ground" beds for each pooch before the last time we left them at Camp Bow Wow, which was when we spent a week at Family Camp July 15-21.
Before they each owned a "Koranda," their little "stuffed, padded, and comfortable" beds would be placed on the floor of their large kennel room where all three of them would stay together while we were gone on vacation. At the end of our vacation when we went to get them, their little beds were wet on the bottom and sides because of being on the ground and well, you know what Max probably did to the sides of those beds when he couldn't get outside. It was not a pleasant sight or I should say smell.
So when we take them to Camp Bow Wow now the Koranda beds keep them up off the ground as they sleep all night and nap throughout the day and as they just rest and watch and their beds stay dry. Here at home the Koranda beds have joined the home decor, and when he is not behaving, I've threatened to get a large Koranda bed for Mr. Fun.
My main accomplishment today was working on old photos and preparing to do more "backdated" blips. I also spent an hour during the middle of the day in an online workshop with the good folks at Lynda.com (it's available to everyone, not just educators, so check it out).
We woke-up just five or ten minutes late this morning and realized we'd missed a spectacular sunrise. We are pretty sure the cloud-filled sky was a show worth seeing; those few extra minutes of sleep, though, were the best!
Good night from Southern California.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun, and Mitzi, Max, and Chloe)
