Busking

This kid has had a busy day! She got up and immediately got on working out a dance. We drove to school because of the rain/loads of stuff combo.

As well as normal school, today she danced in the final of "So you think you can dance?" and came 4th. The head told me she'd danced beautifully and thought it was interesting to see "modern music used for ballet". He's clearly not had much experience of the lyrical genre!

She then spent the whole of lunchtime busking for charity with her buddy who plays the recorder. Her favourite bit of that time was when the head started sang along to Skye Boat Song. Then!! At the end of school, they husked again, this time out in the cold for the parents and children at the end of the day! She was really pleased that people that weren't mummy actually put money in their bucket.

From school it was time to go straight to ballet, where she is now, first to help the younger ones then for her final exam prep before Saturdays exam. She's so excited for that!
