On the ball
An afternoon spent in Campbeltown in the rain watching KK play a few games. Two 9 a sides for Lochgilphead Red Star and then an 14 a side on the full pitch in a mixed team. He found it a very different experience from his usual 7 a sides. The poor goalie looked very small in the big goals.
KK was playing up front in this tournament after doing very well in the last one. He scored a goal in the big game which was great for his confidence. Most games were very evenly matched and the atmosphere was very friendly as it should be. A good tea break with Campbeltown blippers who live just round the corner from the pitch so that was very handy on such a wet day, thank you much appreciated.
Back home now with the fire on and the wine open.
