Broughton Hills

Today's the day .................................. to catch the last rays

Drove up to Edinburgh today after work. It was pouring with rain as we left Kendal - much as it had been doing all day - and things didn't get much better as we headed north up the M6.

It was only when we had climbed up over the Devil's Beeftub after Moffat that things began to improve. The sky cleared itself of mist and clouds and it turned into a beautiful evening. The last rays of the setting sun were just catching the hills to the east of Broughton as we drove through.

The weather forecast for tomorrow promises that it will be warm and sunny. It could even be just the sort of day to plan a barbeque .............................
