Cymbidium Tracyanum

I joined us up as friends of the Botanics and visited the glasshouses for the first time.

This is a 'boat' orchid from SE Tibet, China and Thailand. It is also, not surprisingly, known as Tracy's Orchid - although I have been unable to track down who Tracy was.  In China it is called Xi Zang Hu Tao La.
