A beautiful day, chilly but calm and sunny.

It was a quiet morning in the museum, but it soon changed at lunchtime.  It was also a really busy afternoon with a new art exhibition opening.  Howard Towll has wood prints in Da Gadderie, and they are superb.  We also had the musicians in for tonight's violin concert.  Enjoyed walkies with Sammy, but another frosty night out there.  A quiet night in, but might pop for a pint with friends later.

With the fine day, I thought I'd nip down the road for a lunchtime walk.  I used to visit this croft hiuse every Sunday as a bairn with granddad Maikie.  He used to drop us off around the corner at Sunday school, and then we'd pop up here to see Robbie Jarmson, get a sweetie and listen to the old men yarn about days gone by.  If only I had paid more attention to the stories, love to be able to recall them.  Taken at Mail, Cunningsburgh.
