The rest of forever...

A colourful lunch date

A gentle start to the day, up at half six to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before we headed off to the gym. The weekly food shop was completed on the way home and then I managed to grab twenty minutes under the sun's rays before jumping in the shower to get ready for a lunch date!

We took a taxi...fortunately Paul knows where we wanted to go...his pronunciation nearly took us thirty minutes in the wrong direction! Anyway, we made it to our lunch date on time and enjoyed local delicacies and pre-lunch drinks out on their front lawn followed by a tasty Nepali lunch. The garden view is simply stunning...if this link doesn't work, sorry...but my blipfolio has a mind of it's own!! This photo is of a plant in their garden...a Bird of Paradise plant...such beautiful colours. And a fly for extra value!

We chose to walk home, to both save money and walk off our lunch and wine. Home about 5pm, Paul ironed and I did the fruit and veg shop at some local street stalls. The week's shop cost £2.03. Wow!

We have enjoyed omlette and gin & tonic for dinner...such a balanced diet. Paul is skyping his sister and parents and I am ready for bed.
