Ledbury, Herefordshire.
A couple of Mrs BB colleagues are retiring at the end of the month and she was tasked with doing the collection and buying the gifts. She ordered a cartoon from Ledbury cartoonist Simon Cooke, for her male PC colleague Mel, where you supply photo's of the person and some info on hobbies, etc., and he works his magic. The other was a Christmas present for the oldest daughter and depicted her two dogs. He has a website if you are interested.
The blip photo shows Mrs BB shopping next to the medieval Market Hall built in 1617. It's a fabulous iconic building and I love the light and colour in the photo. Ledbury is a borough whose origins date to around 690 AD. In the Domesday Book it was recorded as Liedeberge. It may take its name from the River Leadon on which it stands.
Afterwards, we went for a walk on The Malvern Hills. It was cold but the sun was shining and the views awesome.
On getting home it was a case of having a shower and meeting friends in the local pub for a meal, hence the delayed posting of the blip.
