Colleen
Wow, what a day today. It started out with a 5.00am wake up call from my iPhone and I had to hit the ground running. By 5.45am I was out the door and driving to Mt Kur-in-gai in "MiniMo". It was time for our 12 month service. Always good to know that the Motorhome is in good shape maintenance wise. I had quite a few hours to fill so I head by train into Chatswood. Perhaps a bit of "Retail Therapy" was in order :-)
Now there's a REALLY REALLY good story around my blip image today. As many of you know I have been on quite a journey this year - a "Weight Loss" journey. One of the main reasons for my success in dropping the kilos has been a wonderful Australian Weight Loss Program, Lite'nEasy. Very early on in my journey I connected with an extraordinary member of their team, Colleen. I made a commitment to contact Colleen on the 1st of every month to give her an update on my progress. Over the past nine months, Colleen has become an invaluable part of what I very respectively call the "A" Team!! You have to have support of your friends and family when you undertake a journey like this, but to have someone like Colleen in my corner has made a huge difference.
Well, today we actually had the opportunity to meet each other in person, not just on the phone or via an email. It was a really emotional moment for me. Finally I was meeting a person who had unconditionally supported me, a person who had never met me but had put a great deal of faith in me. Colleen's encouragement and support has been amazing.
Is this all sounding familiar? How blessed am I to have had such wonderful people supporting me in one of the most important challenges of my life. A challenge that in hindsight has turned my life around. I am fitter, healthier and lighter than I have been for many, many years. I'm ready to face with great determination and confidence whatever life challenges come my way in the future.
Bless you Colleen, Paula, Debbie, Catherine, Jen and all of my family and friends who have believed in me over the past nine months. What more can I say!!
PS - I have to say Colleen has obviously had much more practise at taking "Selfies" than I have, this one turned out okay and it wasn't me pressing the button :-)
