I Heart Today!

Today was great-a bit of a blip in the middle, but peaked again.

Great service at church, the previous pastor was speaking today and he was on a roll! He travelled to Scotland to marry us 4 years ago and always holds a special place in our hearts. Can't remember anyone's name for toffee, but he still remembers who you are and what you do!!

Had a good chat with Mum on the phone as I walked back to the car. Then headed home to get ready.

We had been invited to a BBQ in the afternoon from friends that we've known for a while, but our paths have only just crossed fully recently. Her husbands family and my husbands family all grew up together 40 plus years ago, so quite funny that history was there as we met properly at church rather than through the connection. The BBQ was fab, big paddling pull for wading when it got too hot, had my back to the sun and now I'm lobster colour on one side and normal on the front!! Great conversations, the kids were quite entertaining and a really relaxing afternoon.

Came home to watch Karate Kid (the recent one) which finished our weekend brilliantly.

Now it's the countdown to the Devon photography holiday, looking forward to it so much! Just need to make sure all camera equipments ready to go!
