Playing an unusual guitar

This guitar that Scott is playing is a guitar he had that didn't sound right at all. There was something really wrong with this guitar and the problem turned out to be that the bridge was more than an inch further than where it should be. He took the guitar to a friend of a friend called Steve who is a guitar maker that has a shop just outside Cupar and asked him if he could fix it. He took the challenge willingly!

This morning we went to Cupar and we went to Steve's shop to collect the fixed guitar. I was amazed at Steve's enthusiasm and passion for his job, by the way. Something infectious. A guy that really loves his job. The guitars he makes are amazing, really beautiful! Guitarists usually go to his shop to have a guitar made for them. So, anyway, he told us that he got professional musicians to play the faulty guitar as a joke and that they had a good laugh. He actually managed to fix it by adding an extra moveable bridge as in the banjos, so the guitar now has two bridges and it sounds great!

I wanted to take a picture of his amazing workshop, but I didn't, so instead I'm giving you an image of Scott playing the two bridge guitar.

Other than that, it has been a pleasant day off. Got myself a small Christmas tree today. Now I have to decorate it.

Thanks very much for all your lovely comments and stars. I hope you all had a good day! :)
