rust welcome

This afternoon I was singing at the Thornhill Farmers' Market with the Cairn Chorus, the choir I joined a few months ago.

Apart from hymns in church, I had not sung with others for years, and my voice was very rusty. The Cairn Chorus is a community choir, and no auditions are asked for, in fact nothing is asked for except for enthusiasm and commitment. 

I did not know when I started in September just how happy it would make me to sing in a choir. Thank you, Cairn Chorus for making my rusty voice so welcome :-)
