festive visitor

I was up before the sun this morning - wanted to go  for a walk in the moonlight. Not just any old moonlight, either, but the bright light of the only supermoon of  2017. It was full yesterday, but nearer the earth this morning. Anyway, it was beautiful, and I saw it set behind the hills in the West.

The rest of the day was quiet and peaceful. I made a loaf, did some housework, read my book, knitted a bit of sock, went for a walk across the fields with D and Jess, cooked the dinner and wrote some Christmas cards.

A visitor came to call :-)
