The Föhn

We are told that today's strange climate is down to the föhn - which until now I had always thought was only to be found in the Alps.   But 13/14°C and a high wind does feel peculiar on 7 December.   


This is Blackford Hill.  Having lived at its foot for fifteen years I know it pretty well.   Some blippers (shandonner , walkingmarj ) will remember a blip meet at the top some years ago.
