Sankta Lucia

Today is Lucia day. So early this morning, I got up and made coffee, put on my Lucia gear and then took coffee, Lucia buns and gingerbread cookies to mum in bed, lighting up the darkness with my candle, singing traditional Lucia songs.

Well, I would have LIKED to do that, but there were quite a few insurmountable difficulties that made it impossible. Mum is happy anyway and says I am her little Lucia. We are watching a real one tonight, with saffron buns and all.
