Feeding the Ducks

Today the Pest Control team came to treat our house for flies,spiders,cockroaches and other nasties. It was quite a mission. The cats had to be locked out and Maisie's crate was moved to the garage... a safe place for her. We had to leave the house until 4.30pm. We filled in time visiting friend Rachel then driving to Picton. From there we drove via Queen Charlotte Drive to Havelock to lunch at the "Slip Inn" cafe. Children were busy watching ducks and ducklings in the harbor next to the cafe. It was a great day out in stunning weather.
