Bourne Again.

Bit of a dark blip today but that's because it was taken at the cinema. Every Wednesday the Odeon in Dunfermline does a 'Newbies' screening at 11am. It means that parents can take their babies along to a film without fear of tuts of disapproval from the other cinema goers when their little angel starts screaming the screen down. I'd thought about taking Lil before but the films were always a bit rubbish. However, this week 'The Bourne Legacy' was on which I quite fancied. In addition, after a night out last night with some friends which involved a fair amount of alcohol, I was quite looking forward to sitting in a darkened room for a couple of hours.

I was a bit concerned as Lil has been a bit grumbly during the daytime, possibly due to teething, so I wasn't sure she'd sit well for the running time of the film. I should have had more faith in the rules of cinema etiquette I had obviously instilled in her whilst she was in utero. She was fab! She sat in her buggy, chewed on her teether and stared at the screen for the first hour. Then she got a bit restless so I popped her out of the buggy and rocked her . When I popped her back in she turned on her side and fell asleep for the remainder of the time. Amazingly stress free.

So, a successful first outing and hopefully an experience we can repeat!
