Newport marshes

I had time this morning to visit one of my favourite spots for waterbirds which is the estuary  at Newport. The moment I pulled up I saw my shot for today and it was not a bird although there were plenty on the river. The sun was trying to come through the misty cloud and was reflecting off the river while the mist was still lying in the wooded valley. It was a surreal sight and  I think I have captured the light as it filled the valley.
