Finally

After millions hours of talking, thinking, drawing and working, the Tombua Landana Compliant Tower was finally delivered to her owners today. After the last completion work like cleaning, dismantling scaffolding and getting all tools and equipment back on board the Thialf, we will move out any minute from now and leave for the next location. That will be Mafumeira Norte, a Portuguese name for a (probably) beautiful African tree. In reality, the Mafumeira we are talking about is an ugly tree, made of steel, producing oil and gas. It is only a small job, one lift and after that we will leave for Pointe Noire for crew change, bunkers and provisions for the Atlantic crossing to Trinidad. The Retriever will first go back to the Ayang II, we left her last night in order to go back to the Thialf first. The Ayang II was not ready yet for departure.
