'The Meeting Place'

At St Pancras station. I find this sculpture by Paul Day hideous - a potentially powerful theme reduced in stature by this gigantic expression of an oversized, over literal, hyper sentimentalised chocolate box coupling. The thrusting, indelicate stance evokes a strident crudity alien to any subtle interpretation of 'love'.
