cous cous

Pierre made his first cous cous yesterday and we had it for lunch today. I'll not see mum or dad at Christmas this year as we'll be in Marseille. Mum's back in Ireland, but dad came for his lunch today. We gave him his presents and had Christmassy music playing :) Pierre's cous cous turned out absolutely gorgeous!!! And we had Christmas pudding for afters :)

Talking of Christmas puddings, I had a Sainsbury's shop ordered that was meant to be delivered to a friend of a friend in Portsmouth. Our friends were meant to be bringing the bags of goodies on their drive back to France. I was so excited to get Christmas puddings, mince pies, Cadbury's chocolate and lots more! Just before lunch, my friend called to say there'd been a disaster and when the shopping was delivered to her mate, he didn't recognise the name on the delivery so turned it away! So, my friends left and hadn't thought anything about it and only remembered when they were on the ferry from England to France! Ah well, there'll always be another time and I could probably do without all that chocolate :)
