Soup at Granny's

Storm Barbara has blowing strong again today, and then think it's Storm Connor coming tomorrow.  Wintery showers and rain from time to time. 

Weekend off and I also have a few extra days off for the festive.  I slept well this morning, but finally had to get up and going.  It wasn't much of a day for long walkies, and Sammy didn't want to go too far.  We went for a run to Sumburgh in the afternoon, but again, too wild for walkies.  I also popped in to Lerwick, and ended up doing an hour on the desk at work, to help out.  I headed down to mam's at teatime, and then going to meet up with friends later, with a Christmas jumper and hat theme :)

Mam had invited the family around for tea, me, brother Jonny and family, and Laura's lasses turned up.  Mam had cooked a muckle pot of Reestit Mutton Tattie Soup, mmm right good, and a great winter warmer :)  Here enjoying their soup are L-R - Michalea, Alex, Lena, Isiaha and Elise.  Taken at mam's, Aith, Cunningsburgh.
