All ready for the Big Day

A busy day baking sausage rolls and mince pies which have almost all been eaten already, last presents wrapped and delivered. Last few bits of shopping done, house tided, washing done and dried.
We had an early dinner so that we would be ready to go down to the Cathedral at 6.30pm for a carol service. The weather had calmed and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves singing at the top of their voices. Santa made an appearance and gave them a small present each.
Back home and the christmas chimes have been chiming and I've had my snowball, a bit of a tradition now :)
The last animal has been placed on the advent calendar and Santas special key has been left out. One of our little Christmas figures can also be seen under the Advent tree .
