Full Moon to light Santas way

A lovely Christmas Eve even if the weather was on the wet side. After dropping David at work we went for a drive along the road next to the Beauly Firth. It was flat calm and covered in soapy bubbles caused by the seaweed. The water has been rough for the last few days.Great light as the sun tried to come out.
We went to Munros for brunch, mushroom soup and half a toasted bacon, brie and cranberry sandwich.I bought two Christmas ornaments, a cute little felt mouse holding a ladder and a fox holding a merry Christmas sign. The sun had popped out for a while.
Down to the Cathedral after dinner to sing carols. it was cold but stayed dry and we stood inside the ruins where it is usually closed to the public. I'm rubbish at singing but it was fun and it did nt seem to matter if you sang out of tune, the people next to me might disagree though ;)
The full moon shone down through one of the open windows. The moon will reach it's peak at in the morning. This is the first time that a full moon has appeared on Christmas Day for 38 years.Native American cultures call it either a Full Cold Moon or the Long Nights Moon. The full moon will cause particularly strong tides
So here we are nearly at the end of Christmas Eve so may we wish you all a very Happy Christmas:)
