Monte Bianco from the Italian Val Ferret

After a coffee or two in Courmayeur, we set foot along the snowy trails of the Val Ferret, a very Christmas setting. Lunch at the mountain restaurant, barley soup followed by a slice of pear and chocolate cake, could not be beaten. The walk back helped us overcome that overindulgent feeling.
