a non Christmas Dog

This labrador puppy was a surprise gift to my grand daughters from their parents.  She arrived four days ago and has already turned their house upside down  The dog is named Holly, which is of course, an appropriately festive name.

It is suggested that  animals should not be given as Christmas presents. There is no suggestion of that in this case.  The new owners were completely vetted by the local dog breeder in order to make sure that they would reach her exacting standards....
